this is a low rise open plenum intake with small 318 runners, works rather well as a daily street drive.

IMHO a LD4B or the street dominator are the 2 best intakes to use on a 2-v 318 conversion.

my 1999 PAW catalog shows the holley street dom with small cfm 4-v carb as a 70 HP bolt on swaping from a 2-v intake with the whimpy 2-v cam.

I run a street dom on the whiplash roller cam 318 with a spredbore holley in my 85 truck and have a street dom on the 88 440 truck with a edelbrock q-jet.

good throttle response,good performance, good mpg on both.

both are killer intakes for the street or daily driving.
