What bore do you want to take it to ? The one I have has a sticker saying not to take it past 4.340 , it's a siamese bore block that got used for a 426 build because of that.

If possible I would ask to see a sonic check if you want it use it at that bore or larger before buying it, even offer to pay for the sonic check. Dan Costello said it's possible to shift things around or even just sleeve the thin holes to bring it back to being used at 4.500 if that is the ultimate intended plan.

The block I have only has a couple of shifted bores but I'm leaving it at 4.250.

But plan of having it completely checked/ machined if it hasn't already been , deck on mine was about .020 tall and the lifter bore geometry was off.
