Never knew about the panhard bar. Lesson learned.

I agree on the forces this far to the rear are limited.

1970 PLYMOUTH HEMI Road Runner Clone - $51000 (Oconomowoc)

This a real Roadrunner, 383, 4 speed post car. Started out as a rust free Arizona vehichle. Car was assembled over the past three years and wherever original parts could be used they were. Short of the headers this car appears like a 70 Hemi car. The person who built this Hemi has been building and racing them for 30 years. 528 cu inch 600HP Hemi @ 5800 RPM on the break in dyno. The body was media blasted to bare steel, HEMI specific torque boxes and rear leaf spring reinforcement plates were installed, light body work and painted top, bottom inside and out with Dupont Chroma base and clear. Some would say the paint is a 10 but I am very picky and give it a 9.
The fit and finish are very nice and when you stop attracts all kinds of attention. Driving this car is a pure pleasure. On the highway the interior is relatively quiet with no exhaust drone. Shifts smoothly and will smoke the tires whenever you wish. Brakes are power and work better than any Mopar I have ever driven from this era. Below is a list of things done. . .not by any means every thing:
