Quick reply... disconnected the wire from the alt (no longer have the relay hooked up as shown in the diagram above) did not die, kept running. Scratching head there... but again, will wait till tomorrow to pick up where I left off.... more help is always greatly appreciated. Thanks again,

Use a ohm meter and check the master to make sure
it goes open when it shut off
