Mine only wears under the bronze gear were it meets up whit the bushing for the shaft and i swapt mine out now after two summers of driving it ! The push rod for the fuel pump whas looking like new on the bronze tip (No Wear at al) so i put that in again. I should metion that i run a std mellings oil pump in my engine so if you have a HV pump there probably is more wear on yours
