Billy -- are those pieces really necessary? I hacked the ones off my daughter's car and the valance still seems pretty sturdy. Your thoughts?
I have seen a few cars with and without them. They aren't 100% necessary but I wanted them on there. The 69 Barracuda down the road from me doesn't have them either. He told me he cut his off along time ago and wishes now he hadn't due to some minor flexing his paint is starting to crack.
