I trimmed the outboard carbs' dividers down some (maybe 1/2"?) on one of my Six Pack intakes years ago and it helped a little on top end, but not a big difference.

Or you can mill out the entire outboard dividers like Rick Eherenberg did and totally ruin the intake.
