If I was in the market for another block right now and couldn't wait for a KB, I'd probably be looking into an aluminum Indy block from a good vendor.
I have a KB block and a World cast iron block. If the World block wasn't so daggum heavy I'd recommend it b/c the one I have has checked out great...it just weighs a ton. Seems like I've heard of the World aluminum blocks having some issues?
