I've heard of some 74 B's with a 9.25 but just have never seen one myself. Had a couple 74 HP Chargers and both had 8.75 but may have been early cars. Have had a few 74 trucks all with 8.75 rears. Maybe they just used the 8.75 for the E's through out 74. All 71/4B's 2-bbl cars both BB and SB and 6 cyl that I've owned had 8.25
