I shoot some doors and fenders and do a little blending with base/clear. I have a cheap Harbor Freight HVLP that does a fair job on small pieces like jambs and such. But larger areas takes forever because a wider spray pattern leaves dry streaks at the pattern's edges.
A better gun will help here won't it? What gun would you recommend? Especially considering price. Best bang for the buck kind of thing.
Thanks!

Best bang for the buck is the Divilbiss finishline with the three tips. http://www.autobodytoolmart.com/c-916-devilbiss-paint-guns.aspx

Under cheap guns they sell Astro I want to get the lvlp http://www.autobodytoolmart.com/pc-11608-560-astro-lvlp-gravity-feed-spray-gun-evo4014.aspx Ive heard good things about it. I use a divilbiss hvlp for primers and base coats and a Div plus for clear. Some of the Div gun kits come with 3 tips so you can really do a lot with the one gun.

PS shop around Ive seen them cheaper than the links I sent.

Another vote here for Devilbiss not cheap but not bank breaking either and the extra tips to boot, great deal.
