I shoot some doors and fenders and do a little blending with base/clear. I have a cheap Harbor Freight HVLP that does a fair job on small pieces like jambs and such. But larger areas takes forever because a wider spray pattern leaves dry streaks at the pattern's edges.
A better gun will help here won't it? What gun would you recommend? Especially considering price. Best bang for the buck kind of thing.
Thanks!

If the pattern is to wide you should be able to adjust it narrower. The painter at my shop does all his cars with a gun that he got in a set of 3 for $80. A expensive gun doesnt make a good painter, LOL

Thank you for your observations, but I was hoping experienced painters might respond. The post reflects the fact that I know how to adjust the gun or did the correct spelling and punctuation throw you off? LOL

Master, again and still
