I tell you it so close to going either way by the calculators I have been using online. Actually if I had 3.73, there would be no question. But sometimes calculators can not predict what the motor will truely want. So after i get this thing to the track in a few weeks, I will start doing some drive time on it if my wallet can afford to feed the big block. The 3.91 might be just to much with the 3.09 first gear in the trans--this project I want to use the least gear possible to have the best operating conditions in overdrive, thus the best milage.
