Yes. That much in materials. Could maybe do a little better if you go with a cheaper brand. All the consumables are expensive.

Oh yeah... then there is labor...

Realistically I think a truck could be cheaper than a car, if he can let the inside of the bed go, and do it in a flat black or similar himself.

Unless you can find a shade tree guy doing it on the side the labor at a production shop is really what drives the cost up very quickly. It just all depends on how rough the truck is and what he wants out of it.
