Most mopar replacement applications use the Borg Beck type pressure plate as you have, I have never seen a long type used . Some after market manufactures sell the diaphragm type which is what I use . The 11"' or the 10.95" is more of a manufactures thing , both will work , That's less than 1/16" difference. Can't say for sure about what broke in your pressure plate, scrapped the old one I had a couple of years ago, It had a pivot bolt break hat caused one finger to drop tension.
