From what I can tell by searching the tech archives and the Google search at the top of the page, '78 was the last year for regular production 727s. There is mention of them in fleet vehicles and trucks after '78. Any way to tell other than dropping the pan to check the valve body or pulling the trans. to look at the input shaft? Reason I ask is I'm headed to a pull-a-part Saturday to try and find one for parts for the Charger.
