IF I do the math correctly, they are losing money on the quick 16. Pay out is win $1500, RU $750 and semis $100 twice for a total of $2450 payout. 16 entries at $115 each only equals $1840. So the promoters are paying out $610 to make this race happen. I don't have a quick 16 car, but it Seems preety generous to me on the pay out. What am I missing
I think what you're missing is that the Pro class entries pay for any other classes that are short. Figure if we had 70 cars in pro (which I think is attainable) that's $4900 in entries and a $2275 payout. Do the math. I need to get something with a hemi in it. $20 more for better payout and less competitors.
