It will be a street engine, but I want to squeeze as much performance out of it as I can. I'd like to get as much spin out of it as I can without going to solid lifters.

I've been comparing my build ideas to various crate motors and most of them come with I beams. In looking around I did see that the Eagle H-beams are only around 10 grams heavier. Do you think those would be a better choice? I was also looking at Diamond and and thought I saw one that was close on the math. Part number 11401, but I'm not sure about the valve recess location, and will a D dish piston produce a quench effect?

Planning on using a magnum 5.9 block, Iron Ram heads, Air Gap intake, hydraulic roller cam with rhoads v-max roller tappets for starters.
