ProTrans is 904 guts in a 727 case. True that the 904 parts are the best available, aluminum, billet, etc., but these trans hold up fine at 1000+ HP and 600+ Tq in 3200 to 3800 lb Super Stock cars, ET's in the low 8's to mid 9's. Good parts will live fine.

no they dont,, a planetary could break after 100 or so runs though,, so its a good idea to look at it every so often

if you run low line pressure you could burn it up,, a hemi car has about 150-175lbs
