I think this issue, fire extinguishers , is so dumb and hypocritical. I drove, and still do, old cars from the 50'/60's and the possibility of the car burning up is like winning a lottery. I ask all that have one in their car: do you also have one in your kitchen ? what's more important..home/family or a car?

There was a car show, not a high dollar or car drawer that demanded an extinguisher in the cars entered. It was at a firehall.

Really?....

And yes I have extinguishers in my Kitchen, garage, as well as daily drivers...and while I've never had to use them in my home/garage, daily driver or toys,...I have used them many times for other people's cars burning on the side of the road, I've seen too many classic cars go up in flames on the side of the road, who's owners couldn't do nothing but watch it burn down to nothing...roll the dice if you want to, but when "snake eye's" comes up and bite you on the back someday, you'll be singing another tune

left a car show last year,a elderly guy was driving his pride and joy 56? vette home,he owned it since new, caught fire a mile from his home, witnesses had to pull him away, guy was really upset. i carry 2 extingishers in my runner and have them covered in trunk with a fire blanket, cuz i don't want to be "that guy"
