Well, the problem continues. I had some 1 1/4" solid motor mounts made to get the motor up a little higher. Initially there was still contact with the steering box but after tipping the driver side of the motor up a little on the motor mount pads I have about 3'16 to 1/4" of clearance with the steering box. However, the drag link is still rubbing one of the headers tubes when turning the wheels to the left. It seems like the rear of the motor needs to be lifted. I'm thinking about shimming the trans. mount to see if that solves the problem. The k-frame looks to be a correct 67-72 style frame. I just don't understand what could be behind all of these problems.

Is the car on the ground or suspension hanging?

Mine hit the tubes terribly when the suspension was unloaded, but, when on the ground, no rubbing on steering gear. There are some other issues I had, that's another thread...
