I went to the body shop today to deliver some parts and snap some pics. It’s VERY close to coming home, after some small touch-ups, one more round of buffing, and the flat V21 stripes. The thing looks amazing! Absolutely perfect and shines like glass! I can’t believe what they were able to do with this thing, as it was about as bad is it could’ve been when I delivered it to them. Now it has to be one of the straightest, best looking 69 RR verts around in terms of body and paint. It’s going to be difficult to restore everything on the rest of the car up to the level of the body and paint, that’s for sure.
They put A LOT of time into the deck-lid. Those things are tough to find, and this one was really rough, but it’s the best I could find.
He said that new AMD hood was perfect right out of the box, and one of the easiest pieces he’s worked with if anyone is considering going with one.
