The guys that have those kind of new cars are far better off at the track - even without the rollbars or cages - than they are trying to "play" anywhere on the street.
Yes, I agree that they probably don't offer the level of protection they would with the safety equipment we have to run, but at least now they will have a better place to "play" without being forced to install the equipment or risking other people's lives on the street. Because we all know that if they can't run them at the track - they'll find SOMEPLACE to play with them.
