The wheelbase of the 1968 and 1969 models was 109 inches, and then stretched an inch in 1970. Pre-1970 models had a curbside weight of about 2,836 pounds, with later models weighing about 3,250 pounds. The 1970 Javelin and later Javelins had measurements similar to the early versions at 191.8 inches long, 75.2 inches wide and 50.9 inches tall. The frame cleared the ground by 5.5 inches. Its front track measured 59.7 inches and the rear track was 60 inches. The fuel tank held 15.9 gallons.
