When the motor let go last year and since the trans was out of the car, I sent it in for an inspection only trying to catch any problems before they happen.. Well the trans guy comes back and says it needs this.. and it needs that.. and we ended up getting a complete freshen up on the trans..

One year later, we put the trans in and there is no fluid circulating... the TC level is the same and there is no fluid in the cooler and we have no forward or backwards gears.. So the trans came out and is now at the trans shop for inspection..

When we dropped it off, the one thing the trans guy says is kinda sticking with me... "It could be the pressure regulator"... except the trans was working 100% fine when it was last pulled and having the inspection done was only a precaution..

Since I know very little about how a trans works, what are some of the things I should be prepared for when I stop in later today to check on its progress..

Thanks in advance..
