OK noise turns out to be a bit of piston slap, so not going to worry about that now.
Going to replace the fuel pump permanently with an electric one. Looks like with reading around that the Carter p4070 might be a decent choice, or should I go one step up to p4594 since I plan on running a regulator either way? And car runs a holley carb. Also is it OK to mount over the rear even though they are technically supposed to be lower then the tank?
