I am currently shopping for a new mechanical fuel pump and I am looking for suggestions. The last two that I have used have been the Carter M6866, which seem to last 2-3 years.
I would like suggestions on other brands, or the nicer Carter units.
I am looking for 5.5-7psi units which do not require a regulator.
What about the higher priced Carters, MP, Edelbrock or Holley pumps? I don't mind raising the price from my current $33 Carter as long as I am getting a good unit.
