Definately what you said is part of the final equation, what I miss most is the high revving sound my old W2 340 used to make at 7800-8000.... and as much face distorting torque as the stroker make they just aren't as exciting to wind-out.

To go mega-cubes would sure be fun but I think a a big 4.18-4.20 inch bore 3.79" stroke 6.300 rod would be my favorite way to build a W5, the pragmatic side of me says it doesn't cost any more to throw a big 4.125" inch arm in there instead....even if it costs a bit of that high pitch wail that I love about 340's.

The biggest point is for me just to get another interesting motor project going.
