In my opinion it depends on several factors, ie. what are you doing with the car, street car, drag car, what header you can fit, how heavy is the car, is this the biggest motor your going to build, what is the rest of the combination etc.
Everyone wants to go for max flow, they forget about numbers accross the lift range. If it a street car you don't need a head that flows 370 at .750 lift unless you want to run a loose converter and a 4.56 gear on the street. You will need to run a pretty aggresive cam to take advantage of that type of cylinder head.
I'm getting ready to buy a new set of 440-1s because I already have the oiling kit valley plate, rockers head studs, etc. and they will give me room to go bigger in the future. My car is a dragrace only tube chassis car.
You might look at the Indy SR head also if you can deal with the raised exhaust port, better exhaust flow can be achieved than on the EZ head. A lot of people don't look at the exhaust flow just the intake.
