Here is an actual pic of the alternator mounted in my car, I was thinking about connecting the #2 terminal on the alt. to the output lug just as it shows in the pic.......although the instructions say go to the + battery terminal


havent yet decided what to do with the #1 lug on the alt., I considered connecting it to the starter relay lug, when I hit my on/off switch at the back of the car the starter relay turns "hot"
