I just got back from Autozone for a warranty on my "one wire" alternator and after talking with the counter guy I left feeling I had it not hooked up right. I was looking at the attached paperwork for the replacement unit and it shows two male outlets where a wire harness plugged into it and states that the unit will possibly not work without these hooked up. I assume its a voltage input after looking at the attached diagram. Somebody give me some insight if I need these hooked up or if I can truly have it a one wire hook-up, going to a big race this weekend and dont want to lose first round from a dead battery!
