I haven't done a lot of towing, but my dad was a truck driver and always bee-itched about Ohio and their state troopers. I know Florida is pretty bad along I-10 between Lake City and Pensacola. Apparently they can weigh your rig and measure the height so you don't have to stop at the "Chicken Coop" as my dad called them.
