No personal experience yet but I've changed my plans to G3 HEMI vs a SBM based on the hp capacity of the block. For me the prices seem pretty even but I can use a factory 3G block instead of needing an R3 to handle the power I want.




I feel the same too. What also had me go in this direction is I can run the stock heads for now and focus on the rotating assembly and fuel injection. From a power adder perspective I see having more control of the fuel system will help to REDUCE the chance of uncontrolled detonation.

And since it is a small block I get the weight breaks in heads up classes.
