The best way to remove and install these seems to be with the UCA still in the car. The leverage required can distort the arm, and with it bolted to a 3500 lb car, you at least have some advantage. The 3/4" socket was a throwback to the mechanics that worked on these cars when they were daily drivers. A 1/2" drive socket will work fine. I've used a quality breaker bar with a 3 foot pipe as a cheater.
