If you have difficulty going inside a regular dist by removing the clip then you may want a Mallory based MP unit with externally adjustable slots. You will be in & out of there several times if you want it spot on on the curve. #1 find your ideal initial w the vac gauge method then that tells you how much to shorten the slots. Could get it up & runnning with the points unit & you'll get the hang of getting the center clip in & out of there
