The Power Valve is what makes it work. W/ your solid lifter cam I'd run it for a while before you adjust that. Also you might need more than the 72-76, so start a tad higher... 76-80 maybe. I think the "standard" rule for PV selection is vaccum at idle divided in half?? so 10-12 at idle would give you a 5.5-6.5PV
