Gimmick if you ask me. Buy a good timing set and be done. I would never run one, just buy a good QUALITY chain and gear set. It may be a bit pricey, but a lot of times you really do get what you pay for and being cheap is not the way to go in the long run! I have never been dissapointed buying quality parts over buying cheap parts...
