I believe you are correct Doc. They are evidently specing them different. I worked part time at a camper sales in '70-'75. At that time, the campers were measured from the farthest/longest points. That meant a 24' camper was 24' from the tail light's edge to the end of the ball hitch. Maybe the new spec is to make you think you are getting a "deal" when the trailer is actually longer than what it is being sold as....if mine was a 28' trailer,, I would have to agree that there is some wasted space with the V nose...NOW that you have cleared that up for us Doc,,,could you give us some 'pinion angle' info??
