I don't know how much shipping is, but $2.50 each for these 24 inch cables with ends.

Yeah, these are a nicopress type. They are probably the best design for actual use in preventing your hood from coming up. Those along with the electrical cable eyes, which would not work at all for real, just don't look right.

There has to be something. I think the fishing stuff was a good idea but I have not been able to find anything on-line about that either.

Living in Oklahoma, we doesn't have much deep sea fishing...lol

I may end up breaking down and buying a pin kit, but I still think that someone would have just the lanyards or just the ends. They have to be coming from somewhere.

So let me get this straight, I am assuming this is for the car in your sig, 1970 440-6 cuda, if it is a real 440-6 car it's worth what north of 50k ???, you are crying about spending 5 bucks plus shipping? ...

I'd have to go look at my A body glove box but I'm pretty sure the end is just a crimp on electrical connector, without the little insulator that some have, that is crimped on the cable , nothing special or secret .

LOL, yeah go look again. It is not just an electrical connector. Those are the really cheap looking aftermarket ones. It would not be a big deal for me to make one of those. I want to get it right,(the devil is in the details). I am not accustomed to just throwing money away, not when I can think it through a little.
