If I understand the path of the oil system correctly (that's a BIG "if" ), wouldn't it make more sense to ensure the flow of oil right above the pump isn't interrupted, rather than introducing the additional oil at the rear of the block after the lack of oil to the mains & rods would have happened?




One thing you dont want to do is use the oil sending
unit hole... thats 1/8 pipe and wouldnt be enough
supply if you did loose pressure
