Anyone???

I have run a pertronix IgniterI in a reman points dist for the last 15+ yrs now.

I have the 40,000 volt flamethrower coil that goes with it,the BR by-passed for full 12 volt to conversion, coil has been mounted horozantal all this time.

not a single problem so far out of either trucks I have converted from stock elect, ign. 68 dart/85 truck/88 truck.

I have it for a Mallory duelife duel points mech dist to try real soon also.

it simple and works for me

Same here. I have the Ignitor 2 and Flamethrower 2 coil mounted horizontally just like the stock coil. No complaints. Went in easy, starts easier, idles better, runs stronger. Someone mentioned this is another thread and I often forget to mention to other, but you have to "egg out" one of the mounting holes in the pertronix peice that bolts to the dizzy in order to get the proper gapping. I made the same mods as scratchin mentioned above per his recommendations and I couldnt be happier
