I am sure it is a typo as the break in rpm would be more like 2200 and not 1200.

You can pull the rocker shaft and reach down with a good magnet and pull the lifter out without pulling the intake.

Altho, I have done this on a bb, so in second thought, I don't know if this works on a sb.....
