Well I can tell you what I run in my 63 Sport Fury street car that is a pump gas 493. It is a 440 block with a 440Source 4.15 crank stroker kit. I used the Indy EZ aluminum heads heads and built it with 10.6 comp and good quench. I also use the Indy dual plane intake and both the heads and intake are max wedge ports as I had Dwayne Porter do the heads. The cam is also a Dwayne Porter speced cam. It is a solid flat tappet at .630 and .634 lift with 1.6 rockers and is .264 and .270 at .050 with a 110 LSA that I installed at 106. I like the Indy EZ heads as the exh ports are stock location so I use the TTI 2" chassis headers and their 3" exh system. The car weighs 3700 with me and I use a 727 with a TA valve body and a 9.5 Dynamic converter. 4.30's out back and I use 30 x 9 tires. Car ran 11.49 with a mild 440 and 906 heads. Have not run it with this new eng yet and all I can tell you is I know its faster then 11.40's. I am looking for at least high 10's and I drive it all the time. Ron
