Thats my opinion too, and tech wise is correct for the reasons stated. For best results mout the muffler as far back as possible for both best performance and decible reduction.


Mine are mounted behind the rear end between the rear sub frames and the outer fenders, no tail pipe at all, straight out of the mufflers Three inch pipes from the headers to the 3x14 oval Magnaflows mounted at the rear bumper so the end of the muff is right under the rear bumper Nice and quiet at part throttle, not so at WOT
