I may have spoke too soon as I forgot why I was actually changing rockers at the time. I had the pushrods indy sells with the -1 kit and comp roller lifters. Well a few of the pushrods were soft and the ball end of them was grinding off in the lifter cup. After looking at the roller lifter a little closer, I noticed the cup looked like it was too small for a 3/8" ball end. It was. I called comp to verify. So while I was replacing the pushrods I installed the HS rockers that I had already bought to replace the indy /dove rockers next time I freshened the motor.
So I probably spoke out of turn as the pushrod length more than likely changed because of the difference in diameter of the ball end of the pushrod. Sorry I don't remember what the particulars are on the old pushrods compared to the new ones. Sorry for any confusion, Beep

Thanks 440Jim for jarring my memory of why I was swapping the rockers in the first place. Beep
