thank you, i appreciate the kind words. we sell all sorts of kits and we fix all the problems so the customer isn't left with balance problems, clearance issues, etc. i've redone a bunch of supposedly checked and balanced kits and so far they all needed work to make them right. i've seen all sorts of issues, like out of round rods, pins that don't fit the rod small end, balance that's not even close, etc. it always amazes me what some places sell as "ready to run" kits. we see some of the results posted on this site every so often, often times with broken rods, burn't crank journals and so on. you generally get what you pay for when it comes to engine parts. often times a cheap selling price just equates to more work needing to be done for the parts to survive long term. some get lucky, some don't, unfortunately.
