Again, the passage of time and finding it incredible what people think these cars (any old car) is worth now.

Geez, back in '90 I had an almost fully loaded '77 Crestwood (Monaco) Wagon with a Class 4 hitch welded to it. Despite being a New England car, only rot was the spare tire well. Car ran great and and everything worked.

I paid $300 for it and it needed nothing to be driven. I planned to keep the car a l-o-n-g time, but black ice and 40 ft of guardrail had other ideas.

I have no love for the ride in this posting even at 9500. Just plain fugly and a half rate wagon imo. Amazing some of these rigs made it past the $300 buy in and gutted for the parts days. Yes, I agree as I know first hand you could buy these ultra cheap back in the 90-s.

I kinda chuckled at this because with my wagon I was quicker to the draw than a guy who wanted the 400 for his Challenger. A lot of good that did but that guy ended up finding a 440 out of a motorhome instead.
