I have a NOS 1969 voltage regulator. # 2098300 The paint on the cover needs redone. Is there anyone that restores these covers. I'd like to get the cover and the lettering repainted. Also on a June of 69 built car should the lettering be red or yellow.
Thanks

I believe Performance Graphics in Florida restores the voltage regulator case and I believe cover is yellow. Hope this helps.

Yes Performance Car Graphics did these. But Dave sadly has passed away. Mike Mancini has taken over the business. But I have not heard if he is doing them so looking to see what is available.
Thanks

On the any line regulators the printing was white, yellow was what was sold at the dealer. ECS can do the scrip, but they are limited on the date codes, call them. Question, does the body have a raised bump on the lower left hand side? Sorry, never mind what I said, for some reason I was thinking Imperial, which was the first car that got the electronic reg.

David Patik, now deceased, was owner of Performance Car Graphics of FL.

Scroll almost to bottom to restoration question 5.

Reproduction with electronic internals that I bought years ago with a 1968 date code for my 1969 Barracuda built in November 1968.

Factory original from my '69 Barracuda built in 1968 showing how the cover attaches to the base is not the same as the reproduction nor the eBay NOS.
