Fender tag order number question for a 1970 CUDA - 06/23/17 02:26 AM

On my 70 Cuda's fender tag, there is an "S" in front of my order number. What does that letter mean? It also has Y05 on the tag.

A picture of the tag is a big assist to insure everyone is on the same page.

S - Gelco Leasing Sale (preferred customer)

Y05 - Build for US sale.

If you have a matching broadcast sheet for it, what is / are the other Y code(s?

I have never heard of a Gelco leasing sale before. Now I'm wondering who the preferred customer was that bought this Cuda originally. From the factory, it was Lemon Twist yellow with 383 auto and air conditioning according to the fender tag.

I do not have a broadcast sheet for the car unfortunately. If anyone knows the whereabouts of BS23N0B297370 let me know.

Gelco would have been the original owner / preferred customer.

They would have bought it to lease to someone else.

If you have a photo of the tag you can email, I would love to see it.
