So you mounted it to the cast alluminum fuel pump mounting holes on the original timing cover? Pbody


Career best 8.02 @ 169 at 3050# and 10" tires small block power.

Yes... I made a steel bracket that spans past both
bolt holes, it drops the upper pivot to about 1 1/2"
below the pump bolt holes... I'll see if I can get a
pic tomorrow... I've had it on 3 engines for the last
12 years now... no problems at all

Is there anything off the shelf that will mount the alternator on the bottom driver side?

Jones Belt drive in ottsville pa makes one.They run it with a gilmer belt looks realy trick mounts level with crank.

My lower hose is on the drivers side... using a electric
pump it has the threaded hole on either side for
the hose nipple

Ah, my lower hose is on the passenger side. Does not look like it would work to well for me. I am sure I can find something else, thanks though.
