i have a 74 se in the same colour. i love your car the way it is very original looking. i think you may hurt the value not that i care much about that myself but you may want to look into it before you do the paint. either way i love it

I wouldn't paint that car ever.......I think you will actually hurt the value. Not too many orignal paint cars still out there. Your money can be spend in better places, like front end other places but the last place would be paint for that car.
For the absolute best powder coating go to J.I.T powder coating, contact infomation is in my personal profile..

I'm with everyone else. DO NOT paint that car!!! Right now the paint is a little faded, the chrome on the bumpers is worn and all the other components are showing their age. BUT, it's a survivor...it's supposed to look like that. Once it has fresh paint, the bumpers are still going to look worn and all the other components are still going to show their age. It's going to look like a half a$$ed restoration with just new paint. If it gets painted, your going to have to redo everything else so it looks as good as the paint.

Actually, the roof was close to mint. That brown is glue residue from the vinyl. Only the pillars had rust, passenger side the worst, but not bad considering.
